I am a Licensed Professional counselor and in 2012 opened my own private practice in Oklahoma, called Quest Counseling. I appreciate you visiting my site, I hope you find it helpful whether you are looking into counseling for yourself or a loved one. In private practice, I focus more specifically with adults; addressing relationship struggles, depression, control, stress, anxiety, substance/alcohol abuse, sexual issues, spiritual struggles, pornography abuse and general unhappiness in life.
I received my Bachelors degree from the University of Oklahoma and received my Masters in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary.
I have gained experience in a number of venues: in Dallas working at a transitional living center for adult males, in Oklahoma City providing counseling services to teenagers/families, and serving as the Clinical Director at Mission Academy in Oklahoma City. Finally, in 2012 I began my work in private practice in Tulsa.
Working in private practice has allowed me to focus more specifically on areas I feel most competent and helpful. I am able to provide counseling services for individuals, couples/marriage, groups, as well as provide workshops on specific topics and issues. My approach as a therapist is both process oriented and directive- I want to provide a place to speak your mind, while also offering practical action steps to help get you where you want to be.
As much as I enjoy my work as a therapist and gain a lot of purpose and meaning from that, I also like to backpack and hike, mountain bike, read, and spend time with my friends, nephew, nieces and family in my free time.
